The
Kynseker Renaissance recorders are a splendid ensemble set (garklein to great
bass, and including a treble in G!) for the advanced player. Fingering is close
to baroque and, astonishingly, these recorders play very easily through two
octaves. The set is available in maple and plumwood (except basses - see below). There is a choice of tenors—the keyed tenor is longer and has a larger lower tone hole which gives a stronger sound on the lower notes than is possible with the keyless tenor. The keyed tenor, and bass and great bass, have fontanelles and are supplied in hard cases. The tenor without key and the smaller recorders are supplied in leather pouches.
